New Reeg MX Sponsored Rider

Years ago, the first riders we ever sponsored were two Texans (Steve Halpain and Justin Miller). With this in mind, we are proud to introduce our newest Texas rider, Justin Earnest. The Missouri native is currently competing in regional races riding a Reeg MX KLX110 and Reeg MX CRF50. Justin's most recent podium results as a Reeg MX sponsored rider include finishing second at the North Texas Mini Motard (Hosted by North Texas Yamaha and Sneaky Pete's) behind Guy Cooper in both the 10" and 12" Pro Classes, as well a finishing 1st in the dash for cash race. At the Oklahoma Thunder X race, Justin finished 3rd in the 12" Pro Class and 5th in the 10" Pro Class. We welcome Justin to the team, and can't wait to see how he does in 2007.

Ryan Beat Dominates Fast50s 6th Annual 4 Stroke Minibike World Championship

Ryan rode his Reeg MX Factory CRF50 and CRF70 to a 1st place overall finish in the Mini and Mid Expert Class. Thank you to our sponsors and the Reeg MX race team (Along with honorary race team member, Dennis Beat who helped wrench all day long.) for providing two first place titles in Hollister. We couldn't have asked for a better day at the races. The weather was perfect, the track was awesome, and everyone had a great time. Ryan even had a chance to break in our new CRF150R. Good job to Craig of Fast50s and Willie of Willie's Motoworld for putting on a well executed event.

Jim Cusson's CRF50 Race Bike Rolling Chassis

After finishing 3rd overall in the 2005 Pitbike National Series and 2nd overall this year, Jim has decided to focus next year on the midsize class. This leaves a race-ready, pro-class, everything but the motor, CRF50 up for grabs. The bike has our newest chassis kit with cradle frame and GP swingarm, hydraulic brakes, billet rear hub and Marzocchi's up front. Although it's not the most current photo, you can see what Jim's bike looked like with our 2005 graphics at our Reeg MX Rider Gallery - http://www.reegmx.com/gallery/rider/13.html. Price: $3,500.00 Firm. Receive free UPS Ground shipping if the bike is shipped disassembled. First come, first serve.

Parts List: Tag Bars, Sano Billet Throttle (Cable Included), Faba 12" Front Wheel with Bridgestone M401 Tire, Faba 10" Rear Wheel with Shinko Tire, Hardstyle 37 Tooth Rear Sprocket, Renthal Gold Chain, Standard Clutch Perch and Lever (Cable Included), SDG Tall Seat
BBR Billet Gas Cap, and Carbon Fiber Fork Guards

Jim would also like to keep the footpegs and mount, but believes these should be included with the bike, so he will also include his Takegawa Oil Cooler and Kitaco Tappet Plate with the sale as compensation for removing these from the chassis.

All parts in excellent or good condition.

Reeg MX Rider Finishes 2006 Pitbike Nationals Series with Two Podium Spots

Jim Cusson, who rides both a Reeg MX sponsored CRF50 and CRF70, was the only rider to finish the season with a podium in the mini and midsize open class. Jim toped his 2005 3rd place finish with a 2nd place overall in the mini class and placed an impressive 3rd place for his "rookie" year in the midsize class. The other two riders, Eric and Chris Plackis, that Reeg MX sponsors in the Pitbike Nationals also finished the year in the top 10 for the midsize open class. Congratulations Jim, Eric and Chris. We thank them for the countless hours they drove to participate in as many, and often muddy, races as possible, and we hope to see them race next year.

3rd Generation Rear Billet Hub

Our lightweight billet rear hub has gotten lighter. The original Reeg MX billet hub had two different bolt hole patterns for either a mechanical or hydraulic brake rotor. As we've done away with the mechanical version of the kit, we've also removed the 6 bolt hole pattern that the mechanical brake called for. By doing so, we've shaved several more important ounces off the rotating mass of the rear wheel.

Reeg MX Rider Continues to Lead in the 2006 Pitbike Nationals

Jim Cusson, who rides both a Reeg MX sponsored CRF50 and CRF70, is the current leader in points for the 50 open class and second only to Willy Browning in the Midsize Class. We would also like to recognize Eric and Chris Plackis who both hold Midsize Open positions within the top 10. Best of luck to our NJ riders. Keep rockin' it right.

Discontinued Products

Due to the popularity and outstanding performance of our hydraulic brake kit and GP +5 swingarm, we've decided to discontinue both our mechanical brake kit and standard +3 swingarm kit. Although we've ceased selling these products, we will continue to supply replacement parts for a limited time.

Best of luck to Reeg MX sponsored rider Jim Cusson
who's currently competing in the 2006 Pitbike Nationals. Jim finished 3rd overall in last year's series in the 10" class. This year, Jim has decided to race in the midsize class as well riding a Reeg MX sponsored CRF70. Jim races with what we consider to be the East Coast Division of our race team, a group of Reeg MX sponsored riders based out of New Jersey that include Erik Plackis, Chris Plackis and Bob Mazzarisi.

Round 1 of the Pitbike Nationals
took place on May 19th, 2006. Reeg MX sponsored riders Jim Cusson and Eric Plackis were crazy enough to fly out from New Jersey to California to race in the first of the 2006 series just outside of Sacramento. As the Hangtown track is about 2 miles from our machine shop, it was only a few minutes to the track with our race bikes, practically untouched after Vegas for Jim and Eric to ride. While the rider's meeting took place, we watched as it began to sprinkle and the rain. Just long enough and hard enough to turn the dirt on the track into mud. Once the racing started, it was all that the riders could do to keep their bikes out of the muck and their goggles clear. After a lot of great battling, Jim finished 3rd in the 10" class and 4th in the 12". Eric didn't fair as well as his bike's motor was sacrificed to the mud gods. The only upside to the rain was that, unlike last year, it wasn't 110 degrees during the Motocross race on Sunday.

The MiniMoto SX in Vegas
began with a lot of promise for our race team. We were starting the event out with extremely talented riders. Ryan Beat, a young and wicked fast rider from California, Jeff Gibson who races a 450 Subway/Coca-Cola Honda for a living, and Blake "Bilko" Williams, the Australian Freestylist who gave us a podium finish last year at this very same event, all waltzed into the night show in the first qualifying round. The evening continued with the same air of optimism with Ryan Beat passing Jeremy McGrath on the last lap of the first heat to take first place and secure his spot in the main event. Once the main show started, Bilko grabbed a 2nd place spot in the stock class riding a Reeg MX CRF50 provided by Carmichael Honda Motorsports and equipped with CHM exhaust and Fastway Performance footpegs. From there, our luck seemed to run out as both of Jeff Gibson's bikes overheated, Bilko was unable to finish anymore races on the podium, and Ryan Beat came out of a turn with his 10" bike on his ankle. On the upside however, Ryan pulled it together to finish 4th in the 12" class, a feat that is really impressive considering how swollen his ankle had become. Although we would have liked to see the night end with more reason to celebrate, we went back to California with a renewed passion to become more competitive and extremely thankful of our riders, mechanics, and sponsors.
